Title: Global G/L Process Analyst

Description:
Responsible for General Accounting processes globally
- Activities encompass General Ledger, month end close, master data (chart of accounts, cost center, profit centers), Fixed Asset accounting and Intercompany accounting
- Primary focus on sites being converted to a new SAP instance, but secondary involvement in legacy environments
- Create and maintain process for approving access to security profiles for Finance users
- Maintain the integrity of the standard business processes and the SAP Core model configuration
- Review change requests to system configuration or business process
- Ensure business process documentation is adequate and up to date
- Assist with site implementation activities
- Provide post go-live support as required at client and IBM locations
Work with IBM on G/L process improvements and issue resolution
- Point person for any projects which impact process area (including involvement in annual audits)
- Manage and evolve performance metrics to evaluate the performance of the process area and to identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements:
Bachelors degree and experience in accounting policy and process required. 5+ years experience in G/L accounting, management or audit required. Knowledge of US GAAP, IAS or any non-US statutory financial requirements a plus. Knowledge of SAP preferred. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
