Client is migrating to QAD ERP to centralize their IT operations. They have a backlog of around 4000 man hours, which seems to continually regenerate. QAD's manufacturing application modules seem to address the majority of their specific needs, however the Financials require some customized work. As such they have allocated an additional IT head count to assist in developing "add-on" code to better enable financial reporting and improve productivity.

 

Individual will spend about 60% of their time programming from general design specs given to them by the Lead Analyst. The primary programming language will be Progress and SQL Database. The remaining 40% will be in analysis, which includes some interface with various end users to detail out required code and user expectations. 50% of the programs will be generating reports for the Financial team, with the remaining 50% programming additional features for various applications.

 

Individual needs to have experience programming applications in QAD using the programming language Progress and SQL.

 

BA is minimum education level
