Title: Senior UNIX Systems Administrator 

Description: 
Working in a global Unix support team, the Senior UNIX systems administrator will be responsible for managing and supporting the server-based Unix environment. Responsibilities also include providing third level support to the site-based support group on server and OS related issues. The UNIX administrator should meet all of the skills outlined below.

Requirements: 
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldis required 
- At least 3 years experience in AIX administration 
- Must be knowledgeable in pSeries hardware 
- Must have experience in at least three of the following areas: AIX, Storage Area Networks, FastT (DS4800 Storage Subsystem), NFS, Shell scripting, logical partitioning via Hardware Management Console, backup and disaster recovery 
- A working knowledge of AIX 5L and HACMP is desired 
- Must have excellent communication, organizational and documentation skills 
- Should have the ability to quickly diagnose and fix critical server problems, and react to user problems and requests in a timely and professional manner
