Web/PC Developer

 

The Web/PC Developer is a key member of the IS team that

develops products to support E-Business between the client

and its customers.  Responsibilities include desk top

applications, Intranet, Extranet, and Web Site (.com)

development and coordination with external sourcing

partners.

 

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

1)     Ability to design, develop, and support Microsoft based applications utilizing a variety of programming tools including ASP, Visual Studio, XML and HTML.

 

2)     Support new and existing applications and third party interfaces including updates, security, maintenance and administration.

 

3)     Provide technical support for our internal and external business users.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

 

·       Bachelor’s Degree in a computer science/engineering discipline with applied information technology training and experience

·        2-4 years of information technology experience with increasing responsibility

• Developed applications using desk top and web server technology – Microsoft ASP and Visual Basic (preferred).

·     Microsoft SQL Server and IBM DB2 database experience

• Foundation in multi-tier application development  - database, business objects, Graphical User Interface (GUI)

·        Ability to travel 25% of the time.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

·       1-2 years of ERP experience and AS/400 experience an additional bonus

·        Experience working in a manufacturing industry.
