Our Client is Looking for a Director of Finance, effectively operating as the Controller, to assist with the management of the finance division.

 

Previous experience with a small or midsize business is preferred, as direct hands-on and day-to-day accounting experience is required.  The ability to multi-task in several areas, including Human Resources, is required.  Experience working with the Big 4 accounting firms is preferred. 

 

Our Client is engaged by their clients to assist on mission critical projects, including ERP System implementations, Business Process Reengineering, Business Process Outsourcing, Supply Chain Strategy and other specialized projects.

Required Skill Sets:

 

1        5 Years experience in professional services, Talent Acquisition or distribution, or 8 years of accounting experience with a Small/Midsized Business (SMB).

2        Technical expertise in accounting, ERP Systems, such as Netsuite, Quickbooks, or similar SMB accounting package or Major ERP Software (Oracle, SAP or Peoplesoft).

3        Demonstrated commitment to excellence and upward mobility.

4        Strong accounting experience, including cash management, budgeting and forecasting, and solid analytical review skills.

5        Solid understanding of month-end close processes, bank expectations, and must possess process improvement documentation skills, and be familiar with process documentation software (Visio).

6        Demonstrated history of success in progressive accounting and managerial roles. 

7    Must be a Certified Public Accountant.

 

Preferred Skills/Experience:

1        Certifications: CPA, CMA, or MBA

2        Major Firm Experience: (Big 4, or other Major Consulting Firm)

3        Office Management Experience

4        Ability to develop solid relationships and partnerships with industry leading professionals

5    Cash Management, Taxation, and Investment experience preferred.
